Indian Valley Vineyard is a family botique business, well known for their classic, seamless Bordeaux-style blends. The obvious passion, loving care and team work has produced Double Gold, Silvers and Bronze medals in such prestigious competitions as the San Fracisco Chronicle Wine Competition, Indiana State Fair Int'l Wine Competition, just to name a few.

LOCATION: Located in the magnificent and historical Indian Valley area of Southern Monterey County, approximately 15 minutes North East of Paso Robles. The topography consists of gently rolling Oak studded hills to level land...all with simply amazing views of the Big Sandy River as well as the Coastal Mountains. This propery is ideally located to provide the rural feel, but is just a short 12 minutes to the Famous San Miguel Mission (founded July 24, 1797)and just another easy eight minutes to Paso Robles. Although the topography is very user friendly and not steep, it is elevated from the paved county maintained road in such a way that it affords a special feel of complete privacy with spectacular views in every direction.
THE VINEYARD: Planted in 2000 and 2001, the 21 acre vineyard is comprised of:
Cabernet Sauvignon~10 Acres, Clone 7 & 15
Cabernet Franc~5 Acres, Clone 332 & 312
Merlot~5 Acres, Clone 181
Spacing is 10x5 with drip irrigation.
The Owner, Ron Harris along wth Dennis Byrnes carefully researched the site to choose the secific clones and rootstock that would acclimate to the vineyards soils.
Every inch of this vineyard, roads, shop and utilities and future home site was subjected to the upmost thought in design with vision of the absolute highest quality of fruit.
Dennis Brynes has been in the grape growing industry for over 20 years, starting with Martin Brothers Winery and working with many other notable area vineyards. Dennis is a Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo-Graduate where he studied Agriculture Science with a concentration in Plant Production.
The final touch is Steve Glossner, the Winemaker. Among many other accolades, Steve is well known for producing Justin Vineyards 1994 Isosceles, which was awarded the prestigious international "Picon Longueville Comtesse de Lanande Trophy" for the best blended red wine.
THE SHOP: 2,000 square foot metal building with concrete foundation, plus a 600sq.ft. outside covered concrete storage/work area as well as a 200sq.ft. climate controlled storag rom (maintained at 58 degrees) with approx. 300+ case storage capapcity. The shop walls have four nch insulation and the oof has six inch insulation. There are 8 skylights. There are two 14 footroll up doors with view windows, a front man door and a rear man door leading to a pation area with a feed garden and bar-b-que area. Plumbing has been stubbed in for a office and includes shower,sinks, toilets.
The entire property is deer fenced.
